Will Jackie marry anybody?
Jackie will gladly perform ceremonies for couples of any gender, sexual orientation and ethnicity. Mildly religious, interfaith, spiritual, agnostic and atheist ceremonies are all welcome. Jackie will happily incorporate various religious, cultural or spiritual traditions into your ceremony as you see fit.
What kind of ceremonies will Jackie perform?
Whatever tickles your fancy. Jackie will provide you with various ceremony outlines and styles to choose from and then you’ll fill in the blanks together. Writing your own vows, song lyrics, special readings, your personal narrative as a couple and traditional rituals are all options from which you can choose. Jackie will help you find the right blend of content to create a deeply personal ceremony that strikes a chord for you as a couple and your guests.
How long will the ceremony last?
If you’ve ever been a wedding guest, you probably have a good idea of how long a ceremony should last. Jackie considers 15-25 minutes as the “sweet spot” in which the couple and their guests stay engaged. Once you hit 30 minutes, the couple starts to fidget and lose focus and guests follow suit. Jackie prefers to keep the ceremony under 30 minutes for these reasons.
Where will Jackie go to perform a wedding?
Jackie lives in Southern California and can easily drive to your wedding within Los Angeles or Orange Counties. Appropriate travel costs will be factored into Jackie’s rate if traveling to Central and Northern California is required for the ceremony. Out of state ceremonies can be arranged as well.
